Nustar construction materials to arrive in the US, but details are scarce August 20, 2021 August 20, 2021 admin

The United States will begin receiving a slew of high-quality construction materials and equipment from Nustars subsidiary Empire as early as early next year, officials said Tuesday, but they offered few details.

“Nustar will begin shipping these items to the United States as soon as the appropriate licenses are available,” the Nustarchic division of Nippon Construction said in a statement.

Nustars’ Nustarin subsidiary, Empire Construction, is a joint venture between Nippons Nippo and Embers Corporation.

The Embers company’s manufacturing plants are located in the United Kingdom, and the two companies are currently engaged in a joint project with Germany to build a $1.9 billion high-rise tower in London, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The U.S. government has requested $1 billion in incentives from the Trump administration to get the Embers tower built.

It has said it is also considering a number of other incentives, including a new tax credit that would be applied to companies that purchase the NUSTAR building materials.

The government is expected to provide the incentives as early this month, and a decision on how to use the money could come by June.
